Warranty Statement

Nexus Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd. and Devsol (hereafter referred to as “the Company”) offer a limited warranty for all solar inverters and Power Conditioning Units (PCUs) manufactured by the Company. This warranty is extended solely to the original purchaser (hereinafter referred to as “the Customer”) and is governed by the terms and conditions outlined below.


Warranty Terms and Conditions

1. Warranty Coverage

The Company warrants that the solar inverters/PCUs shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship, ensuring they perform according to the Company’s specifications under normal usage conditions. This includes defects arising from manufacturing errors or material inconsistencies.

2. Warranty Duration :

Standard Warranty : The solar inverter/PCU is covered by a two-year warranty commencing from the date of sale by an authorized dealer.

Extended Warranty for Dealers : An additional three-month warranty is provided to dealers for resale purposes. If the inverter is sold more than three months post-manufacturing date, the Customer’s warranty will commence from the manufacturing date of the inverter. 
It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure receipt of the most recent batch of inverters from the dealer.

3. Validation and Verification : 

In the event an inverter remains in stock for over three months at the dealer site, the warranty for the Customer shall be effective from the manufacturing date. The Customer assumes responsibility for purchasing the latest product from the dealer. The Company disclaims any liability should the Customer purchase an outdated product under these conditions.

4. Service Locations :

Warranty service is strictly available at the Company’s factory :
Factory Address: Old G.T. Road, Shahpur Kalan, Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh.
The Company is not responsible for warranty services arranged through dealers, nor does it hold liability for dealer non-compliance with warranty terms.

5. Transportation and Liability :

Customers must cover all transportation costs to and from the Company’s factory for any warranty service. This applies whether within or outside the warranty period. The Company is not responsible for loss or damage during transit or repair.

6. Product Performance Disclaimer :

While the Company assures quality, it does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the inverters/PCUs. Occasional defects or malfunctions may naturally occur.

7. Dealer Responsibility :

Authorized dealers are expected to facilitate initial service and support. The Company is not responsible for issues arising from dealer mishandling or unauthorized installation services. If a dealer refuses warranty service for any product, the Company will not be held responsible for the refusal. It is the Customer’s responsibility to secure warranty service from the dealer, not the Company.

8. Installation and Use Requirements :

Authorized Installation Only : Installation must be performed by certified professionals with the assistance of the Company’s engineers. The Customer must call customer care at 6396855249 for installation help. Our experts will instruct the professional installer to ensure installation is done according to our guidelines.

Customer Responsibility : It is essential that the installation is conducted by a qualified expert. If the Customer makes an installation without notifying and obtaining assistance from the Company, the warranty will be void. The Customer must provide a professional installation certificate to validate the warranty.

Usage Guidelines : Inverters/PCUs must be used per specified operational guidelines. Overloading, improper usage, or operation beyond specified conditions will void the warranty.

9. Non-Transferable Warranty and Billing Locations :

This warranty is strictly non-transferable and applies solely to the original purchaser. Service will only be provided at the location specified in the proper GST invoice. The Customer is responsible for ensuring a valid GST invoice is presented for warranty claims.

10. Responsibilities for Installation and Commissioning

The Company will not be responsible for installation, commissioning, or any related activities. Customers must ensure proper installation and commissioning are conducted by certified professionals. If the product is found to be improperly installed or commissioned by non-professional installers, the warranty will be void. Customers are required to submit an installation certificate to validate the warranty; failure to provide this document will result in warranty voidance.

11. Authorized Dealer Locator

To find our authorized dealers, please visit www.nexussolarenergy.in. Use the dealer locator tool by entering your pin code to locate authorized dealers near you. Purchases made from any dealer not listed on our websites will be considered from an unauthorized dealer, and the Company will not provide any warranty for such products.

12. Warranty Registration Process

To activate the warranty, Customers must register within seven days of purchase: 

Submit a copy of the GST invoice and installation photographs showing proper setup and protective measures.

Documentation should be sent to info@nexussolarenergy.in or via registered post.

Note : Failure to register within the stipulated time frame results in warranty voidance.

13. Company Rights

The Company reserves the right to modify or revoke the warranty at its discretion for non-compliance with terms or attempted fraud.

14. Service Timelines

The Company does not guarantee a specific timeframe for warranty service. It is not the Company’s liability to repair the inverter within a certain timeframe, and the Company is not responsible for any losses incurred during service delays. Customers should not expect hassle-free warranty service or completion within a specific timeframe, as delays may occur due to logistical or technical challenges.

15. Complaint Registration Process

Required documents : original invoice, a one-minute video of the issue, and the warranty card.

Incomplete documentation may result in processing delays.

16. Warranty Void Conditions

The warranty shall be voided if:

Physical damage is incurred to the inverter/PCU.

The warranty seal is broken or tampered with.

Installation is conducted improperly.

The inverter/PCU is overloaded or operated beyond its rated capacity.

The Customer performs self-installation.

Unauthorized repairs or modifications are made to the inverter/PCU.

The inverter is found to have been submerged in water or exposed to moisture.

The inverter is used without solar panels or for purposes other than solar applications.

The inverter is contaminated with dirt or any type of liquid.

The inverter is installed without proper earthing, ACDB, DCDB, lightning arrestors, or protective devices.

The inverter is subject to grid voltage fluctuations.

The inverter is damaged by lightning, rain, fire, or explosion.

17. Dealer Verification

A dealer’s official seal, signature, or stamp is required for warranty validation.

18. Additional Terms

Exclusions : Damage from natural disasters, misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications is not covered. 

Shipping Costs : Customers bear the cost of shipping for services and repairs.

Third-Party Service : The Company may use third-party services for repairs; however, it is not liable for service-related issues. Customers can opt to send the inverter/PCU directly to the factory.

No Replacement/Refund : No replacements, refunds, or adjustments will be provided under any condition after the sale. Customers should maintain backup systems during repairs.

Documentation : Retain this warranty card and purchase receipt for all claims.

Arbitration Clause : Disputes are subject to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh.

Warranty Statement for Solar Air Conditioners

Warranty Statement

Nexus Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd. and Devsol (hereafter referred to as “the Company”) offer a limited warranty for all solar air conditioners manufactured by the Company. This warranty is extended solely to the original purchaser (hereinafter referred to as “the Customer”)
and is governed by the terms and conditions outlined below.


Warranty Terms and Conditions

1. Warranty Coverage 
The Company warrants that the solar air conditioners shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship, ensuring they perform according to the Company’s specifications under normal usage conditions.

Warranty coverage is as follows :

Electronic Parts : One-year warranty on electronic parts from the date of purchase.

Compressor : Five-year warranty on the compressor from the date of purchase.

Exclusions : There is no warranty coverage for gas leakage or low cooling performance.

2. Operating Conditions 

The air conditioner is designed to operate effectively when the outdoor temperature does not exceed 35 degrees Celsius. If the outdoor temperature is higher, the Company does not warrant cooling performance. Cooling efficiency is also dependent on room size and other environmental factors. The Company is not responsible for inadequate cooling due to these conditions. Power consumption may increase due to high outdoor temperatures or other environmental conditions. The Company is not liable for increased power consumption beyond the rated specifications.

3. Product Model Requirements

Some models are classified as hybrid, while others are off-grid.

Hybrid Models : 
These must be installed with both grid power and solar 
panels as per the user manual. If the air conditioner is found to use only one source, the warranty will be void.

Off-Grid Models: 

These air conditioners should only operate using a solar power generation system (A.C. power). If found using any other power source, the warranty will be void.

4. Warranty Duration

The warranty period for the solar air conditioner is effective from the date of purchase and is valid for the specified period for
each component.

5. Validation and Verification

To validate the warranty, the Customer must retain the original purchase receipt and provide it when making a warranty claim.

    • Solar panels are installed without a Direct Current Distribution Box (DCDB).
    • The junction box or diodes are damaged or tampered with.

    • Failure to conduct proper maintenance and regular cleaning of the solar panels.
    • Solar panels are used for purposes other than generating electricity through a solar power system.
    • Electrical mishandling, such as short circuits or improper connections, resulting in panel damage.
  7. Natural Disaster Exclusions

Inverter Battery Warranty Card

Warranty Terms and Conditions:

Coverage and Eligibility: This warranty covers Nexus Solar Energy Pvt Ltd inverter batteries and is applicable only to the original purchaser. It is non-transferable.

Registration: To be eligible for warranty service, the product must be registered within 30 days of purchase on the Nexus Solar Energy website or by contacting our customer service team. Proof of purchase may be required for warranty claims.

Warranty Duration:

First 3 Years: During the first 3 years from the date of purchase, your Nexus Solar Energy inverter battery is covered by a free replacement warranty. If your battery experiences any defects or issues covered under this warranty, we will provide a brand-new replacement free of charge.

Next 2 Years: From the 4th year to the end of the 5th year from the date of purchase, your inverter battery will be covered by a 50% discount on the Manufacturer’s Retail Price (MRP) for a replacement battery.

Exclusions: This warranty does not cover:

Damage or malfunction caused by misuse, improper installation, neglect, accidents, acts of nature, or any unauthorized modification or repair.

Any damage or loss incurred during transportation, handling, or installation.

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our inverter battery.

Warranty will be void if the inverter battery is found to be:

Misused or operated in a manner inconsistent with the provided user manual.

Operated with low water levels.

Subjected to deep discharges, and the customer will be responsible for recharging costs in such cases.

Damaged, broken, or has sparken terminals, burst, or shows signs of any other misuse or accidental conditions.

Replacement: Any replacement battery provided under this warranty will be of the same or equivalent model and capacity. Nexus Solar Energy Pvt Ltd reserves the right to inspect and verify the condition of the inverter battery before approving warranty claims.

Service Location: Nexus Solar Energy Pvt Ltd offers warranty services exclusively at authorized dealer points. We do not provide on-site services. If an authorized dealer is not available in your vicinity, customers are responsible for transporting the battery to our factory at their own cost.

Service Type: Free warranty service will only be applicable to manufacturing faults and internal component failures.

Jurisdiction: In the event of any disputes or legal matters, jurisdiction will be in the Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh court.

Lithium Phosphate Battery Warranty Card

Terms and Conditions

Warranty Period: This warranty, issued by Nexus Solar Energy Pvt Ltd, is applicable to your lithium phosphate battery for a duration of 15 years from the date of purchase. The following terms and conditions govern the warranty, and it is imperative that you carefully read and understand them.

Free Replacement (First 3 Years): During the initial three years from the date of purchase, Nexus Solar Energy Pvt Ltd will provide a comprehensive warranty coverage that includes free replacement of your battery in the event of manufacturing defects, electrical malfunctions, or any issues related to the original workmanship.

50% Discount on MRP (Years 4-15): From the fourth year up to the fifteenth year, Nexus Solar Energy Pvt Ltd will extend its commitment to quality by offering a substantial 50% discount on the Manufacturer’s Retail Price (MRP) for a replacement battery in the case of manufacturing defects or material-related issues.

Dealer Service: Nexus Solar Energy Pvt Ltd’s dedication to customer satisfaction is embodied in our vast network of authorized dealers. All warranty-related service and support shall be facilitated through our authorized dealers. In the exceptional event that a Nexus Solar Energy Pvt Ltd dealer is not located within reasonable proximity to your location, the onus is on you, the customer, to arrange and bear the cost of transportation for sending the battery to our factory for replacement.

Transportation Costs: In instances where transportation to our factory is required, all associated costs, including packaging, shipping, and insurance, will be the responsibility of the customer.

Additional Terms and Conditions:

Exclusions: This warranty does not cover any damage or malfunction resulting from accidents, misuse, neglect, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, or unauthorized repair attempts. Any such actions will void the warranty.

Transferability: The warranty coverage is non-transferable and extends only to the original purchaser.

Verification and Inspection: Nexus Solar Energy Pvt Ltd retains the right to conduct a thorough inspection and verification of any warranty claims before approving a replacement.

Normal Wear and Tear: This warranty does not encompass normal wear and tear, which is to be expected over the course of battery usage.

Tampering and Unauthorized Access: Any unauthorized opening or tampering with the battery casing will render the warranty null and void.

Consequential and Incidental Damages: Nexus Solar Energy Pvt Ltd shall not be held liable for any consequential or incidental damages arising from the use of the battery or due to the battery’s failure.

Inverter Compatibility: This warranty is valid only if the battery is used with a lithium-compatible solar inverter for solar power applications. Usage of the battery with non-lithium-compatible inverters or for purposes other than solar power generation will void the warranty.

Inverter Installation: Inverters used with this battery should be installed with full protection and proper earthing to ensure the safety and optimal performance of the system.

Jurisdiction: In the case of any disputes or legal matters related to this warranty, the jurisdiction shall exclusively be the courts of Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, in accordance with the laws of India.

By accepting this warranty, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the terms and conditions stated herein. To ensure warranty validation, please retain this warranty card along with your original purchase receipt for future reference.

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Nexus Solar Energy Pvt ltd, and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms & Conditions or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.

SEVERABILITY

In the event that any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms & Conditions, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.
